Posthumous award of the Medal of Excellence in Composite Materials to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. mult. Klaus Friedrich

On September 9, 2021, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. mult. Klaus Friedrich was posthumously awarded the Medal of Excellence in Composite Materials during an honorary session dedicated to him at the "30 Years of IVW" celebratory colloquium. The medal was presented to Professor Friedrich's wife Elke Friedrich by Dr. Karl Steiner, Vice President for Research and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
