Knowledge & Technology Transfer

The knowledge and technology transfer team (KTT) focuses on the specific transfer of knowledge and technology from the Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials to the industry. Activities of the transfer team cover both, applying for and processing of research projects for the fundamental understanding of new designs, materials and processes, as well as the development of new industrial applications in direct cooperation with the customer. Insights are directly transferred from IVW to the customer.

IVW's Knowledge & Technology Transfer assists its research partners

when applying for public funding

from national and international research programmes.

In addition, proposals and ideas for new, publicly funded projects with a focus on tomorrow’s industrial demands are generated. Experienced employees assist and advise the industrial partners when applying for national and international public research funding programs. In addition, the transfer of knowledge to and from society is ensured by various regional measures such as the Science and Innovations Alliance or the event “Nacht, die Wissen schafft”.
