A+ Composites

A+ Composites GmbH was founded on June 9th, 2015, as part of the EXIST-Forschungstransfer program supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Over the past four years, the company has expanded its team to 18 employees. This is based on the development of a new and promising manufacturing process for continuous fiber reinforced plastics. A+ Composites is continuously developing its fiber reinforced tapes.

In the field of medical technology,

the team at A+ Composites has introduced many innovations.

The newly developed adhesive tapes received  recognition at the Innovation Award Rhineland-Palatinate  2019. A huge potential of those tapes lies within the reinforcement of 3D-printed structures in essential areas. In addition, the new A+ Composites’ processes offer new opportunities for the logistics industry. Barrels, pallets and storage boxes can be specifically reinforced with this technology, making them considerably more reliable when bearing heavy weight. The continuous fiber reinforced plastics are also applied in injection-molded parts, giving them the mechanical properties needed, according to customer requirements.
