Posthume Verleihung der Medal of Excellence in Composite Materials an Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. mult. Klaus Friedrich

Am 9. September 2021 wurde Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. mult. Klaus Friedrich im Rahmen einer ihm gewidmeten Honorary Session des Festkolloquiums "30 Jahre IVW" posthum mit der Medal of Excellence in Composite Materials ausgezeichnet. Die Medaille wurde von Dr. Karl Steiner, Vizepräsident für Forschung sowie Professor für Maschinenbautechnik an der University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), an Professor Friedrichs Ehefrau Elke Friedrich übergeben.
