Development of New Hydrogen Storage Systems at IVW

The development of advanced hydrogen technologies is being further advanced at the IVW with a new major project. Together with 17 other partners from the commercial vehicle industry, the foundations for hydrogen combustion engines as emission-free drive systems for commercial vehicles will be laid and prototypically tested over the next 3 years. Based on a patent that is currently being applied for, the IVW is contributing the development of new storage technologies to the overall success of the project.
