Girls' Day

Welcome to Girls'Day at the Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials (IVW) in Kaiserslautern!

Girls'Day is organized by the VDI Technologiezentrum (VDI TZ) and offers girls and young women the opportunity to explore careers and study programs they may not have considered before. We are opening our doors – both on-site and online – to give you an exciting insight into the world of composite materials and materials research.

Experience the fascinating world of composite materials up close! In our workshops and experiments, you can get hands-on and discover how modern materials are developed and tested. Learn how composite materials are used in aerospace, automotive, and many other industries.
