Guest at KIT and PI

As part of an excursion, the scientists of Materials Science Department visited the Institut für Technische Chemie at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they were introduced to the important topic of recycling management in technical lectures and during an impressive tour of the pilot plant for recycling polymer materials. 

In the afternoon, the IVW researchers were welcomed at Physik Instrumente GmbH (PI). They were given an exciting insight into the product portfolio and the latest research trends of the motion control experts, followed by a tour of the new production facility for high-precision positioning systems.
