Welcome Filippo Valoriani to Leibniz IVW as a Guest Scientist

We welcome Filippo Valoriani, a PhD student from Politecnico di Torino, to join the IVW team as a guest scientist in our Design of Composite Structures competence field.

Filippo’s research focuses on developing finite element code based on the enhanced refined zigzag theory for the design and analysis of Type IV pressure vessels, validated through experimental testing. His innovative approach and technical expertise will further strengthen our team’s capabilities in advanced materials and structural design.

In addition to his academic work, Filippo brings industry experience from Dumarey Automotive Italia, where he contributed to projects in the automotive sector.

We also welcome PhD students interested in research areas such as composite materials and structural analysis to collaborate with us for a semester and contribute to their dissertation projects.

We look forward to the impact Filippo will have on our research and innovation at Leibniz IVW.
