Two new EU research projects for the Materials Science program area

In the first round of calls for proposals of the new EU research framework program "Horizon Europe" (2021-2027), IVW has successfully acquired two new projects taking on the role of consortium partner in each case.

In the research project "Waste2Biocomp", organic waste is to be converted into sustainable bio-based composite materials.

In the second project, "SUSAAN", sustainable antimicrobial and antiviral nanocoatings will be researched.

Both research projects will start in summer 2022 for a duration of 3.5 years each.
