Successful 3rd Project Meeting: Fiber-Reinforced Compound Films for Fuel Cell Vehicles

News25

The third project meeting on "Fiber-Reinforced Compound Films for Fuel Cell Vehicles" was held at the Leibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe (IVW). In close collaboration with our project partner, the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Center (ZBT), we have reached a significant milestone.

Our achievement: 0.4 mm thin, fiber-reinforced, and highly filled bipolar plates based on polypropylene, already implemented at demonstrator level. These advanced materials represent an important step toward lightweight and efficient solutions for the future of mobility.

With these innovative material solutions, we are setting new standards in fuel cell technology and contributing to sustainable mobility development.
