New project Open Digitization Alliance Pfalz II

With the project Open Digitalization Alliance Pfalz II (ODPfalz-II), the IVW specifically addresses the area of participatory involvement of society. In cooperation with the scientific-technical areas of the institute and the knowledge and technology transfer, essential steps are taken to involve society and companies more strongly in the scientific development and to enable a mutual cooperation in the context of "Citizen Science". This involves the participation of society in scientific discourse and the transfer of findings from the field of composites to social discussion, especially for the areas of health and sustainability. To this end, formats are being developed and validated that will be available for these and other applications in the future.

The project starts on 01.01.2023, runs for 5 years and is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (03IHS254D).
