New bio-composite materials for energy storage applications

From 01.10.2021 the IVW has started the work for the preparation of a new EU project. Over a period of 6 months, the BMBF will fund the work for the planned application within the EU research framework program Horizon Europe "Frontal curing biocomposites for energy storage applications". The aim is to use a new, energy-efficient polymerization technique to produce multifunctional FRPs that will be used, among other things, in a flywheel energy storage system.
