Information Event: BewegungsForscher

Medical Engineering20Events26

We, the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau and the Leibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe, cordially invite you to the information event of our citizen science project BewegungsForscher on February 21, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This project is about working with citizens aged 16 and over and experts to develop everyday medical aids that are tailored to the individual needs of users. The participants not only have the opportunity to have a say in which everyday aids are developed, but are also invited to shape the entire development process together with researchers. In this way, we want to ensure that the participants' valuable perspectives and ideas, as well as, in the case of their own use of medical aids (e.g. orthoses for sports or in care), their knowledge and experiences are incorporated into the development process.

We want to bring science into application and everyday life and you can support this development by sharing the project with your employees, members, acquaintances and friends. For this project we are looking for people who would like to take part in the development of everyday aids, who may be users themselves or who would like to gain insight into the scientific development process.

In order to be able to introduce you to this project, the project team and possible forms of participation and to discuss with you how you and your institution can get involved, we invite you to the information event: https://www.rti.uni-kl. de/research-based-transfer/open-digitalization-alliance-palatinate/citizen-science-for-you
