Hybrid 2025 – Call for Abstracts Open: 6th International Conference on Hybrid Materials and Structures

The Hybrid 2025 conference focuses on advancements in hybrid materials and structures, bringing together experts to discuss innovations, challenges, and applications.

Since 2014, our colleague Dr. Joachim Hausmann has been an active member of the program committee and an initiator of this conference series. We look forward to the next edition organized by the German Society for Materials Science (DGM).

Date: 09 - 10 April 2025
Venue: Campus Den Haag - Wijnhaven & Online

This hybrid conference offers a deep dive into various topics:

• Topic A: Basics
  This session covers novel material concepts, sustainability, material compatibility, residual stresses, warpage, aging, and corrosion.
• Topic B: Characterization
  Examining material properties via destructive and non-destructive methods, materialographic and microanalytical investigations, and quality assurance.
• Topic C: Design
  Focusing on hybrid component designs, modeling, simulation, and data-driven hybridization concepts.
• Topic D: Production
  Addressing manufacturing, processing, joining, finishing, assembly, disassembly, and recycling techniques for hybrid materials.
• Topic E: Operation
  Discussing condition monitoring, structural health monitoring, maintenance, life cycle assessment, and repair concepts.
• Topic SP: Special Session: "Thermoset-Thermoplastic Hybrid Composites"
  Dedicated to hybrid materials combining thermosets and thermoplastics, covering all aspects from other sessions but focusing exclusively on this concept.
