Driving Innovation Together: Kick-off Event of the Citizen Science Project "BewegungsForscher" on June 20, 2024

The Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and the Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials (IVW) invite you to the kick-off event of the Citizen Science Project "BewegungsForscher" Join us as citizens and scientists collaboratively develop innovative medical aids for everyday use.

The event will take place on June 20th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at IVW in Kaiserslautern, with doors opening at 3:30 PM. Registration is required by June 18th.

"BewegungsForscher" offers a unique platform for citizens to contribute their experiences and ideas, working alongside researchers to develop solutions that improve the lives of people with medical needs.

Who can participate?

Everyone is welcome, especially users of medical aids, their relatives, representatives of associations, caregivers, medical staff, and medical supply stores in Rhineland-Palatinate.

What to expect at the kick-off event?

• Introduction to the "BewegungsForscher" project
• Discussion rounds where personal experiences and challenges in dealing with medical aids will be shared
