Disc Throwing Workshop: A Hands-on Experience for Young Innovators!

The Dynamikum Science Center Pirmasens and the Leibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe (IVW) are offering an exciting workshop for tech-savvy young people aged 10 to 14.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the fundamentals of fiber-reinforced plastics in a playful way. Within minutes, they will create their own eco-friendly throwing disc – made from natural fibers and a sustainable resin system. Once the disc is shaped using a lab press, it's time to test it out on the DiscGolf course in the nearby Strecktalpark!
