CU Innovation Day "Sustainable Production of Composites – Materials & Eco-Efficiency"

Sustainable lightweight solutions are characterized by minimized resource use, energy-efficient production, and the potential for circular reuse of components and/or materials at the end of their lifecycle. Furthermore, they contribute to reducing environmental impacts in their respective applications. During this two-day CU Innovation Day, an event organized by the CU Working Groups on Biocomposites and Thermoplastic Composites, as well as the AVK Working Group on Natural Fiber-Reinforced Plastics—coordinated by CU and supported by AVK—we will showcase new innovations in resource-efficient materials, energy-efficient production techniques, and sustainable lightweight applications, while discussing solutions along the entire process chain.
