IVW is playing an active role in regional, national and international networks, industrial organizations, and scientific associations. Targets are the improvement of technology-transfer of all important future composite technologies, securing training and education to the highest standards, and an optimized cooperation between industrial and scientific partners.
IVW is nucleus and registered office of the Kompetenznetzwerk Kunststofftechnologie Rhineland-Palatinate”. The IVW is also managing the regional office of the Carbon Composites e.V. (“CC SÜDWEST”), the leading society of composite manufacturers, suppliers, OEM’s, and research institutions.
