As R&D partner for industrial applications the Institute for Composite Materials is transferring its long experiences in the field of polymeric composites.
The extensive activities of the transfer team cover application and processing of specific research projects for the fundamental understanding of new designs, materials and processes as well as the development of new applications for the
industry. Efficient coordination and processing of complex and multidisciplinary research projects with the customer is the task of IVW’s Technology Transfer Team. Based on initial discussions with the customers, workshops are conducted to analyze individual problems. This enables us to develop innovative customized solutions. Exceptionally experienced engineers and technicians as contact persons ensure a fast and efficient problem solving. Focus will be on the professional organization and implementation of projects with multi-disciplinary topics. In addition, proposals and ideas for new, public funded projects with a focus on tomorrow’s industrial demands are generated.
